AS SECRETARY JEFF ROWAN KEEPS TRANSCRIPTS AND ATTENDACE FOR EACH MEETING. HE STARTED SKATING IN 88’ AND HE’S BEEN IN LOVE WITH IT EVER SINCE.

HE MET AND BEGAN SKATING WITH TED RICE BACK IN 2020 WHEN THEY ASKED THEMSELVES THE QUESTION “WHY ISNT THERE A MODERN SKATEPARK IN THE

CAPITAL CITY OF NEW HAMPSHIRE”? THEN THEY BEGAN THEIR JOURNEY TO MAKE IT A REALITY. HE IS A SCIENTIST WITH THE US GEOLOGICAL SURVEY, FATHER OF

TWINS AND TRAVELS ACROSS NEW ENGLAND FOR WORK WHICH GIVES HIM THE GREAT OPPORTUNITY TO SAMPLE WHAT NEW ENGLAND HAS TO OFFER FOR PARK

AND STREET SKATING.

Ted Rice: President

As the president of our not for profit, Ted brings both leadership and entrepreneurial expertise to the table. In addition to his role in leading our efforts, Ted is the owner of a screen printing company. His dual roles showcase not only a passion for skateboarding and community building but also a keen business acumen. Ted’s dedication to both his community and business contributes to the vibrancy and success of the Concord skateboard scene.

Steven Burrill: Vice President

Steve Burrill is an integral part of the Concord skateboard community, and his impact is immeasurable. As the welcoming force behind the iconic skateshop 50/50, Steve provided a space for us to gather before and after sessions to watch videos and forge connections. His generosity and commitment have been fundamental in shaping the community into what it is today. Beyond his community-building efforts, Steve is also known to absolutely rip, making him a true cornerstone of the Concord skate scene.

Courtney Cortez – Treasurer

Courtney Cortez serves as the organization’s treasurer, demonstrating unwavering competence in her role. Always on top of her game, Courtney ensures the financial health of the organization stays in tact. Beyond her financial acumen, she showcases her creativity as a talented artist. Alex Heath: Officer

Alex Heath has been an integral part of the Concord skate scene for over two decades. From the inception of the park, he has been a steadfast presence, contributing to its vibrant culture since day one. Alex is not just a seasoned skater; he embodies the spirit of community and brings an unwavering sense of positivity to the park. His enduring commitment and passion for skateboarding make him a reliable and respected figure among fellow skaters.

Chris Harrington: Officer

Christopher Harrington plays a vital role as the liaison between the skate community and city officials, ensuring seamless communication. As the go-to person for the community, Chris connects skateboarders’ aspirations with the city’s goals, making him instrumental in the project’s success. Without his efforts, this collaboration wouldn’t be where it is today.

Josh Swett: Website Administrator

Owner of Everyday Skate Wax Co., is a dedicated website admin offering his expertise to build the Concord skatepark project’s website. He not only contributes technically but also volunteers to teach youth skate classes at the Manchester Police Athletic League, showcasing his commitment to both the digital and physical aspects of the skate community.
